Key Accountabilities/Tasks:
- Assistance in preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts across multi company levels in SAGE, to include:
- Accurate project costing to Preparation of payroll journals to assist with management accounting for UK & Europe payroll
- Assistance in credit card reconciliations
- Reconciliation of creditors
- Assistance with Bank Reconciliations and foreign bank revaluations.
- Other Duties:
- Preparation of pay runs
- Preparation of UK & European VAT returns
- CIS record keeping, onboarding of new subcontractors.
- Assisting with implementation of new contracts in Europe.
- Assisting with tax registration in EU countries, and liaising with consultants/ accountants across Europe.
- Assist with monthly with-holding tax returns for EU countries
- Assistance with Invest NI
- Intrastat Returns
Essential attributes/Skills/Qualifications:
- Educated to Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant
- 3+ years accounts admin experience in a fast-paced busy accounts department is essential.
- Experience using Sage or similar system is essential
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, Word, Excel etc…
