We installed a comprehensive backup power system in the basement, featuring 3 powerful 3.75 MVA generators. To ensure seamless operation, we constructed a secure, double-skinned 103,000L fuel tank on-site. For efficient heat management, we installed roof-mounted cooling radiators and a comprehensive cooling pipe network – over 500 meters long – spanning 12 levels between the roof and basement. This robust solution guarantees reliable power and optimal operating temperatures, keeping the BBC broadcasting smoothly and the airwaves alive.
