
Applicants should be able to manage and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities/Tasks:
Process monthly payrolls for UK and EU countries
Generating and processing Bacs Payments
Submit governmental Returns
Prepare Monthly Payroll related payments for example Tax Authorities, Pension, etc. in a timely and efficient manner
Process New Starts and Leavers
Calculate Holiday and Sickness payments
Resolve payroll queries in a timely & efficient manner
Import Payroll Journals to Sage
Process end of year returns and P60s
Excellent knowledge of PAYE and NIC, to deal with payroll legislation changes
Maintain all payroll records
Assist external Accountants processing of Shadow payrolls
Ad hoc payroll related activities as required
Qualifications/Experience:
Essential attributes/Skills/Qualifications:
Part Qualified accounting qualification, or equivalent experience in industry
Strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
Experience with payroll systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
