As a BIM Technician, you will be responsible for producing clear and consistent drawings in Revit, coordinating MEP services, and contributing to the development of BIM processes and procedures. This role involves collaborating with internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and BIM protocols.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
✔ Revit Modelling & Drawing Production: Create clear, complete, and accurate technical drawings using Revit MEP.
✔ MEP Coordination: Model and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services within Revit.
✔ Project Setup & Standards: Assist in initial CAD/BIM project setups, ensuring protocol compliance.
✔ Collaboration & Liaison: Work closely with internal teams, external design consultants, and project managers on BIM-related tasks.
✔ 2D & 3D Design Work: Generate detailed 2D and 3D design information for various structures using industry-standard modelling applications.
✔ BIM Process Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows.
✔ Model Reviews & Modifications: Conduct model reviews, make minor family modifications, and maintain CAD/BIM standards.
✔ Technology & Industry Updates: Stay updated with emerging CAD/BIM technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
Qualifications/Experience:
🔹 2+ years’ experience in a CAD/BIM role, preferably in building services or engineering projects.
🔹 Proven expertise in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
🔹 Strong technical knowledge and understanding of BIM workflows.
🔹 Excellent IT, communication, and collaboration skills.
🔹 Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality drawings.
🔹 Strong problem-solving and project coordination abilities.
🔹 Experience working on a variety of engineering projects.
